The guitar to the right is a leftie that was commissionned to me some time ago by a Cat and cat's fan! Similar in size to the familiar 6120, it sports what I consider (mileage varies...) more elegant f-holes. It is fitted with "real" TV Jones pickups with tone-switch circuitry. The Bigsby was of course a must: a classic and versatile instrument, it's indeed in a class by itself.

This instrument was water stained in, as you may guess, forest green. Top and back are select flame maple laminates from Dan Yeager. Sides are solid flame maple from my personnal stock. The pickguard is quite unusual in that it's made out of a thin abalone sheet layered over a solid fiberglass surface. So, depending on your mood, it's either green, yellow, blue, or whatever color your mind is tuned to...

To remind the audience of who he's a fan of, a custom cat inlay was added on the headstock and cat paws were used as fret markers. As with all my instruments, the guitar was finished in high gloss NC Lacquer.
